Make-up artists always face the challenge to make celebrities look flawless on-screen. But have you ever wondered what does the trick? Well, it is the high-definition make-up. What is High Definition (HD) make-up? HD make-up products contain pigments and light deflectors that give your skin a smooth appearance without a cake build-up. The pigments in the make-up blend naturally with your skin while the light texture of the make-up gives you a very natural look. Apart from the make-up, there are special brushes used, which make the skin look smooth and glowy. Nonetheless, you can also get that flawless look and get 1000 likes on your Facebook profile picture. The primary base: An HD primer helps minimise your pores so that your skin appears flawless. So if you have enlarged pores, an HD primer can do the trick of making you look perfect. Go for oil-free primers as they not only make your skin look smoother but also help the make-up last longer. Makeupforever and Mac do a great job to give you a camera-perfect look. Here are expert tips for smudge-proof, long-lasting make-up. Full coverage foundation: A good HD foundation is waterproof and lasts all day. However make sure that you blend the foundation well using a sponge or a foundation brush. Opt for a spray foundation as it lays a thin coat of foundation on your skin and gives a very natural look. Also, apply a thin layer of concealer and blend well. Don’t apply too much of it as it will tend to settle on the fine lines. An eyelid primer: An HD eyelid primer does not crease and keeps the eyeshadow smudge proof all day. For the camera, remember that matte is always better than the shine and shimmer. If you like the shimmer, just blend it with a matte powder to tone it down for the camera. Also, follow these expert tips to look better on camera. Contouring: You need some contouring to enhance the natural contours of your face on camera. Opt for natural shades and steer clear of dark blushes as it may look too bright on the camera. For the cheek bones, go for a matte powder that is two shades lighter than your skin tone. So, would you give the high-definition make-up a try? TheHealthSite does not endorse or recommend any of these products. The opinions expressed here are that of the expert's.
